Highlights and notes for the thoughts you want to keep

Mark a passage, add a thought of your own and return to it in your Aura library. Keep reading without turning every article into a project.

Leave yourself a note

Sometimes one sentence is worth keeping.

Highlight the passage and add what it made you think of. A question or a few words is enough.

Choose yellow, green, blue or pink. The colors have no fixed meaning; use them however you like.

Open Highlights in your library to revisit saved passages and their sources. Sign in to save annotations to your account.

A passage and your own words

Your note stays separate from the quoted text.

  • Keep an idea without copying the whole article into another app.
  • Return to a saved passage with the title and source at hand.

Save your first highlight

Start with an article you want to read.

  1. Open the article in Aura and select a passage.
  2. Choose a color, add an optional note and save.
  3. Open Highlights in your library to find it again.

Try the example above first. Notes in this preview stay only on this page and are not saved to your account.

About saving your notes

Does the example save to my library?

No. It is an interactive preview. Open your own article and sign in to save annotations to your account.

Where can I find my saved highlights?

Open the Highlights section of your library. Use the same account on another device to access your saved annotations.

Does highlighting preserve the entire article?

A saved quote is not a copy of the whole article. The original page can change or disappear. Full-text saving and other plan limits are separate from highlighting.

Keep the sentence that stayed with you

Open something you want to read and leave a note for later.
