A reading ruler for following a line on screen
When you glance away from a long paragraph, finding the line again can be annoying. Aura's ruler puts a translucent band across the screen at your mouse pointer. Move it as you read to leave yourself a visible reference.

Enable Ruler in Reading options, then move your mouse over the line you want to follow. The band follows the pointer, not your eyes. It does not detect the sentence you are reading or move from line to line by itself. You decide where the guide belongs.
Try it on a dense paragraph
A long explanation, an unfamiliar article or a document with little space between lines is a useful place to test the ruler. Change your font size first if the text is too small. The guide is optional and may not suit your reading style; turn it off in the same menu.
Designed around a mouse pointer
The current ruler uses mouse movement and is best tried on a computer. It is not a touch-tracking aid or an accessibility treatment. If you read on a phone, larger text and Zen may be more useful. Ruler requires Aura Pro; basic type and theme choices remain available without it.
Where to find it
- Open a text while signed in to an Aura Pro account.
- Choose Ruler in Reading options and move the mouse over your current line.
- Return to Reading options and turn Ruler off when you no longer want the band.
Before you start
Does the ruler track my eyes?
No. It follows mouse movement. Aura does not use a camera or eye tracking for this tool.
Does it guarantee better concentration?
No. It is a visual preference you can try, not a tested treatment or a promise about concentration.
