You open an essay and spend the first minute closing things around it. Aura extracts the main text from supported web pages so you can get to the part you came for. Paste a link, settle on a comfortable type size and read.

The reader separates the article from surrounding menus, advertising and recommendations on supported sites. The source link stays available. If a chart, caption or detail looks incomplete, open the original page to check it. Extraction is useful, but it cannot reproduce every publisher's layout.
Choose what shares the page with you
Start with the font, text size and light, dark or warm theme. Reading options lets you hide article images or link elements when they interrupt the text. Keep images visible for a photo essay or illustrated instructions. These are choices you can change for the material in front of you.
A sentence can stay after you close the tab
Sign in to save a highlight and an optional note. A useful quote, a book recommendation or a thought of your own can sit beside its source in your library. You can also keep reading without marking anything. Aura does not require a project or a written result.
Reading now and reading later belong together
Save articles from Chrome or add a link in Aura. Your library separates articles, PDFs and EPUB books and shows reading states so unfinished texts are easy to find. Open a saved item to continue. Cloud storage has plan limits; check the price page before choosing a larger library.
Where to find it
- Paste a public article URL on Aura's home page, or send it from the Chrome extension.
- Choose your type and theme in the reader toolbar. Open Reading options for the other views.
- Sign in if you want to keep the article, highlights and notes in your cloud library.
Before you start
Can I try the reader without an account?
Yes, you can open a public article without signing in. File uploads, cloud saving and saved highlights require an account.
Does Aura unlock paid articles?
No. Aura does not provide publisher subscriptions or guarantee access to paywalled content. Some sites also prevent article extraction.
Which option should I try first?
Adjust the font size, then read a paragraph. Try Zen if the interface still feels busy. You do not need to turn on every tool.
