Zen mode: give the next paragraph your attention

Settle the page before settling in

Choose a font size and theme in the normal reader, then open Reading options and turn on Zen. It works well for the stretch of an essay you want to read without opening another panel. It does not change the text or require you to create a project.

Come out of Zen when you need the tools

On a keyboard, Z toggles Zen when you are not typing in a field. Use the exit control on screen if you prefer. Your notes and saved material are not deleted when you change views. Return to the normal reader to work with the toolbar and library panels.

Choose a pace that fits this particular text

An evening story and a difficult explanation need different kinds of attention. Zen leaves the pace to you: stop at a sentence, reread it or scroll back. Unlike RSVP, it keeps the surrounding paragraphs visible. If you prefer pages, try the separate Ebook view.

Know what Zen does not hide

Zen simplifies Aura's interface. It is not a system-wide focus app: it does not block websites, silence operating-system notifications or stop you switching tabs. If those interruptions matter, use your device's notification settings alongside the reader.

Where to find it

1. Open an article or readable file in Aura.
2. Set your font, size and theme, then choose Zen in Reading options.
3. Use the on-screen exit control or press Z outside a text field to return to the normal view.
